SIRHA, LYON EUREXPO, FRANCE
22-26 JANUARY 2011

SIRHA is Europe’s largest foodservice exhibition, attracting 2000 exhibitors from 120 countries.

Peter Robertson, Sales Director, Millers of Speyside attended the exhibition in conjunction with Scottish Development International.

Representatives from Quality Meat Scotland (QMS), Seafood Scotland, Scotland Food & Drink, Scottish Salmon Producers and the Scotch whisky Association were also in attendance.

Peter’s attendance at these exhibitions provides a great opportunity to meet with many of our existing customers and some new customers too.

This was the case this year when Peter met face to face with one of our newest customers, Julian Pradelles, COOBOF (Cooperative de Boucherie-Charcuterie Francais) alongside his customer Claude Bocquet from Boucherie Bocquet, 16 Rue Louis Boch, 74000, Annecy, France.

Millers have only started supplying this customer and we hope that this relationship will go from strength to strength and orders will be exported on a regular basis.

With our customers overseas, Peter Robertson attends the ANUGA exhibition and this provides an opportunity to meet with them and of course to establish new customers.

Probably the world’s most important food and beverage fair, Anuga enjoys high regard and acceptance from exhibitors and visitors alike. At Anuga you are guaranteed to meet all of the national and international top-level decision makers from the trade and the food service and catering market in one place.

Millers of Speyside attend this exhibition alongside QMS (Quality Meat Scotland).

Since its creation in 1973, Zandbergen is a leading importer and exporter of high quality meat. This family business has an insight and a great knowledge of their business and the market. Millers of Speyside supply vast quantities of Scottish Beef and Pork products to them in Holland. This amounts to approx 5 pallets every week. We have a very well established relationship with Zandbergen and this goes from strength to strength.
