Quality AssuranceUK BEEF LABELLING SCHEME(Regulation EC No 1760/2000 of 17 July 2000 and 1825/2000 of 25 August 2000) CERTIFICATION OF APPROVALMillers of Speyside is approved to label beef for sale with the specification set out below:
Millers of Speyside supply quality assured meats into many different businesses as well as direct to consumers at home. Whilst we continually work to improve the quality of our product through the careful selection of animals from a fairly localised area, as well as ensuring an optimum level of professionalism throughout the entire preparation process, we also realise the necessity of benchmarking the quality of our product against recognised quality marks. As a result Millers are members of several quality assurance schemes. These include Quality Meat Scotland's 'Specially Selected' Scotch Meat scheme. We also hold a membership of the Soil Association, allowing procurement and preparation of certified organic meats. We feel that these standard marks, along with the company’s enviable reputation for quality, can convey to new, as well as existing customers, the aims and ethics of our organisation.
